CWPT-LMS DATA MANAGEMENT PROCEDURES

The RUN menu includes:

·         Classroom Restoration Procedure

·         Classroom Backup Procedure

·         Classroom Removal Procedure

The purposes of the first 2 procedures are:

bullet Data-Sharing (You back up your classroom’s data to another location so somebody else can access and add to their own database by restoring the data to his/her own database.  Similarly, if you want somebody else’s data, have him/her back up the classroom’s data to a location that you can access, so you can restore it to your own database)
bullet Security (You may want to back up your data for safekeeping in case you have a need to restore it if your system goes down)

The purpose of the 3rd procedure is to remove any unwanted classroom, e.g. test data, from your real database of classrooms.

All 3 procedures ensure that files or folders associated with the classroom being processed are cleanly copied or deleted.
